5 Reasons I Don't Need Filtered Internet Services

1	Our kids are good kids, we can trust them.
	They don't have any curiosity about these things. They don't have friends who might be curious. The changes occurring in their bodies won't affect their behavior.
2	We're adults, we can handle it.
	Without being affected? (and in some cases becoming addicted) We are the sum total of all we see, hear, and experience. Is that what you want to add up to? (You have heard and perhaps even quoted the old adage: Garbage in, garbage out)
3	We can save money with a lower-cost unfiltered service.
	What is more valuable the savings, or your family? What price do you put on your family?
4	We can just delete it when it comes up.
	You can, but you have already seen it! Will you always delete it? How will you delete the image from your mind?
5	We don't have children.
	What about yourself, and your spouse? Are you somehow immune? If it's just you, who will hold you accountable?
There is no room in my home for Pornography!
Think about this…
Set aside room in your home for a stack of the most disgusting pictures and sexually explicit materials, including X-rated movies, you can possible imagine. Put it in the center of your computer room. Now since you don't want it defiling your family; protect yourself and them by: Placing a heavy cardboard cover on the top so you can't see what's in the stack. Setting guidelines about this material and telling every family member not to look at it. Walk around it, day in and day out and do your best to ignore it. How long will it take before someone sneaks a peek? Will one peek be enough? What positive outcome would you expect? The Internet contains material that is unspeakably filthy. Without the appropriate filtering it is easily accessed accidentally or otherwise. Unfiltered Internet access provides a conduit to bring unadulterated smut right into the sanctity of your home. Would you permit a huge pile of smut in the center of the computer room? Of course not, but unfiltered Internet access is precisely that.
